VIRGINIA — February 17th, 2016 — MartianCraft announced today that Jaimee Newberry has been named Chief Operating Officer as part of a broader expansion of their executive management team. Newberry brings with her proven industry leadership and experience gained from advising C-level and senior management teams at startups, agencies, and Fortune 500 darlings. This role culminates a year-long appointment as management consultant and advisor to MartianCraft’s Board of Directors.

“Jaimee has been a key adviser to MartianCraft over the past year. Her impact on our daily operations was immediate and substantial,” said Kyle Richter, MartianCraft’s CEO.

Ben Brooks also joined Richter’s executive team as Chief Marketing Officer. His new role will build upon his current initiatives to promote MartianCraft’s presence in writing, and internal education programs. Additionally, the firebrand Brooks will bring his unique taste and opinions to MartianCraft software products as they look to expand in 2016.

Finally, MartianCraft announced the departure of longtime Chairman and co-founder Rob Rhyne, who will join Apple, Inc. at the end of March. Newberry, Brooks, and Rhyne have worked together as colleagues and friends for over a year on operations, strategy, marketing, and products for MartianCraft. As part of the executive management expansion, Rhyne will transition his day-to-day duties to Newberry, Brooks, and long-time collaborator, Nick Keppol—recently promoted Executive Creative Director. Keppol will take over Rhyne’s role as head of design, and brand ambassador for MartianCraft.

An interim Chairman of the Board, Nathan Eror, has been appointed until the Directors hold private elections in the 2nd quarter of 2016. Newberry, Brooks, and Keppol will join CTO & co-founder Jeff LaMarche to round out MartianCraft’s executive leadership supporting CEO Richter.
